At Houndstead, we have created a haven for dogs and their owners!
My dream was to craft a retreat where dogs and their humans could enjoy cherished moments together. We have designed a safe, spacious environment that allows dogs to play freely and socialise, all while their owners relax and bond with their furry friends. Our 5-acre park is fully fenced with 2.4m high fencing, and features an extra-large chlorine, salt, magnesium pool.

Where It Began
After finding the perfect property, the adventure began, and I’ve dedicated myself to creating an enriching, safe and relaxing environment for all dogs (and their humans).
We’re continually adding features to our dog park, including a charming pool house that offers coffee and tea facilities, a bathroom, and essential amenities like dog swim vests and toys to enhance your experience.

The Park/Retreat: 5+ mowed acres fenced with a 2.4m high dog-proof fence

The Dog Pool: Chlorine, salt, magnesium pool for humans and dogs (use at your own risk).

Depth is .5 metres to 1.6 metres with a gradual slope into the pool.

The pool sides are graduated to ensure the dogs can get out by themselves (the area around the palm tree is not graduated)

Join us for a day of fun, and let your dog explore our hay bales and run full speed in the large park area, where they can unleash their energy and curiosity!

Before considering a booking, please read the Terms of Use!
Cost is $100 for 1.5 hours (90 minutes) for the exclusive use of the facility for private use.
Base price is for up to 2 adults and up to 4 dogs
Any additional adult or dog is $20 (Max. 8 dogs)
Please check the booking options and select the one that matched the number of people and dogs you are planning to visit with.
Entry 10 minutes prior to your session - so we give others time to leave in peace.
Please keep your dog(s) on leash outside the actual dog park.
STRICTLY NO CHILDREN (18+ only) - This is a strictly child-free property.

The Dog House: Pool house with bathroom (toilet and shower for humans) and coffee/ tea facilities, cold water, soft drinks and snacks.

Dog swim vests are available in a few different sizes.

Please note that we are currently only open on 'dry' days. Should the weather forecast for your booking be (heavy) rain, I will be in contact the day before and give you the option of a refund or to reschedule.
